Objective: To determine and compare the serum CRP levels, complement C3, C4 levels, Total IgE levels, Hemoglobin level, eosinophil and platelets count in asthmatic patients and control group. Material and Method: This case control study was conducted at pulmonology OPD and immunology department of children hospital. A total of 100 subjects were included in this study, out of which 30 were control and 70 were asthmatic with age under 16 years. Serum CRP levels were determined by agglutination method, serum C3 and C4 levels were determined by immuneturbidimetric technique, Total IgE levels were determined by enzyme linked immuno assay. Where-as hemoglobin level, platelets and eosinophil counts were measured by Heamatology Analyzer. All the collected data was entered to SPSS 22 (statistical package for social sciences). Results: The concentration of CRP level was significantly higher in-patient with asthma as compared to control. These patients also had statistically higher concentration of C3 level, Total IgE and Platelets count as compared to healthy control group. Conclusion: The Study concludes that the most of the children with asthma showed significantly increased level of C3, Total IgE, Platelets, eosinophil count and CRP level in asthmatic patients. But hemoglobin and C4 levels are lower in asthmatic patients
