Abstract
The importance of novel writing in Punjabi's literary genres has been both proven and accepted. Even though Punjabi novel does not have an ancient history, say approximately 140 years, however during this course of time, important novels and novelists have emerged. Initially, Punjabi novel came in its simplest form but with the passage of time, it evolved in its diction, formation, structure, though, language and dialogue immensely. Renowned Punjabi novel stands justified for the recognition and support forwarded by International critics.
