“Abdul Qadir Khan Khattakwas born in a family which was famous
for pen and sword.He was the son of the great and warrior poet
Khoshal Khan Khattak. He was a best poet, a best prove writer and a
best translator. He hasleft a deewan of poetry which is consistof
ghazals, Qaseeda and couplets. His centeralthemes are Sufism, ethix,
love and universal fact of death, besides this, his poetry is decorated
with differnt figures of speech like similieand metaphor. He has a
strong commondon Arabic and Persian also that is why words of
Arabic and Persian are also found in his poetry. His language is very
easy that is why his verse has continuity and is comprehensive.This
paper is a critical revew of his ghazalsin deewan.”
