Mani Persian was the founder of manichaeism.This religious system is
based on his doctrines.He combined the belief of the two opposing
principles govern the universe.According to this system,the world
orginated a mixture of light and darkness which represents good and
evil.The concept about soul is also very strange.Mani was a writer and a
painter also.Creation of Manvi Script is his another effort.Dr Allama
Muhammad Iqbal has discussed Mani's life and religion in his Ph.D thesis
and in poetry .This article is a successful attempt to present Mani and
Manichaeism in Iqbal's Prose and Poetry and his point of view about this
religion.
