Abstract
Asad Muhammad Khan is among those post-modern fiction writers
who have a rich command over the usage of techniques for telling some of
his awesome stories. He profoundly knows all the modern fashions to sum
up his narration. Well, from simple flash back to stream of consciousness
and from montage to collage he proved himself a maestro who like
Beethoven can symphonies his art ardently. Though a number of stories
were told in a simple traditional way which owe its narrative discipline
from our gigantic fiction writers like Munto, Badi and Asmat yet the
modern technical nuances are the part of his work. He persistently did try
to craft his story in its most natural way and used the language which really
matched to it. The gone milieu and ambience which requires a great
mastery to recreate them are common features of his sublime art. In fact, he
resurrected that eras and periods of history which had had some moral
lessons for us: and, this is not an easy job.
