Abstract
Farhang-e-Asfia which is compiled by "Syed Ahmed Dehlvi" and
Noor-ul-Lughat which is compiled by "Molvi Noor-ul-Hassan" are
considered the major dictionaries of their time. The importance and
authenticity of these dictionaries is not reduced even after such a long
period of time even today these dictionaries are considered authentic for
differences. All those words that are different in regards of their
pronunciation, dictation, meaning and way of representation are evaluated
on the account of diverseness inFarhang-e-Asifia and Noor-ul-Lughat.
