Abstract
Waris Shah is a great Punjabi poet who despite of passing 250 years is still alive because of his eternal creation 'Heer'. 'Heer' has countless, topics, references, and dimensions, on the basis of which it is called the encyclopedia of Punjab. In this study, under a distinct title. 'Eternal Truths in Heer Waris Shah', it has been concluded after the discussion on eternal truths that 'Heer' is such a creation that, by becoming free of time and space, appeals humanity on equal basis; thus, its importance is unique in every era, region, and place. While in the second part of article, Waris Shah has been proven as a universal poet after discussion on some universal verses.
